Rules & Regulation
1. Admission
Eligible exhibitors are individuals, companies and organisations connected with the Agri business
Admission becomes valid upon receipt of the application form duly filled and signed by the applicant and submitted 10 Publi-Promo Ltd, before 30th July 2008
The organiser is solely and fully qualified to make: a decision as far as the admission of an exhibitor and allocation of the stands are concerned
An applicant who cannot exhibit for reasons beyond his control will not be, entitled to any reimbursement by the contractor.
However, if the contractor is successful in sub-letting the stand to a third party, the former tenant will be reimbursed up to 50% of his total participation fees.
The contractor will prepare the layout of the stands; registration order and general outlook of the exhibition will govern the allocation of the stands.
2. Obligation and rights of the exhibitors:
The exhibitor is entitled to occupy the stand as from Tuesday 23rd September at 08H30 till Monday 29th September 2008 at 14H00.
The exhibitor shall exhibit only materials, products or services described in the official catalogue. He is no! entitled to advertise a firm, which is not exhibiting, or sub let all or a part of the space allocated to him.
The exhibitor will never act in such a manner that may disturb his neighbour, He will beresponsible of the cleanliness and good appearance of his stand and will have his stand permanently attended during opening hours of the exhibition,
Any damage caused by the exhibitor in his stand will be under his responsibility.
3. Obligations and Rights of the Organiser:
in case of "force majeure rendering it impossible to hold the exhibition. the organizer is empowered to cancel the event in giving written notice to all registered exhibitors, in such event, the exhibitors will have no claim for compensation or damages. Money remaining after settlement of ail expenses incurred will be divided amongst exhibitors in proportion to
the sums contributed by them and on express understanding that they have no remedy whatsoever at law against the organiser.
4. Decorations, Fittings and Exhibits.
The responsibility of the overall decoration scheme lies with the contractor.
The exhibitor is responsible for the decoration of his individual stand and for the transport, reception and dispatch of his packages and for the checking of their contents.
Samples or gifts will only be distributed on the stand of the exhibitor
5. Catalogue
An Official catalogue will be published.
6. Visitors for the exhibition
Opening hours of the exhibition: Thursday 25th to Sunday the 28th September from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
An entrance fee is applicable for the public before having access to the exhibition. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any person without being required to give a reason.
7. Insurance
The exhibitor must at his own expense subscribe an insurance policy covering all risks, which he may incur, or occasion in his own stand. The organizer is deemed to be absolved from all liability in his connection including loss, theft or damage of any kind.
8. Phytosanitary Regulations
All agricultural products entering Mauritius for the purpose of the exhibition will have to be accompanied with the appropriate phytosanitary certificates. For assistance prior notification to the organizers well in advance is recommended.
9. Application of the rules
These present rules apply to the exhibition organised by the Ministry of Agro Industry & fisheries.
By signing an application form, the exhibitor accents the provisions of these rules and all new regulations as may be imposed by circumstances and adopted in the interests of the exhibition by the organizer.
Any infringement of these rules or any complementary regulations decreed by the organizer in the interest of the exhibition will entail the debarring of the offending exhibitor at the sole discretion of the organizer.
The Court of Mauritius alone will be competent in the event of dispute.
